“Boy howdy, I do likes me some barbecue, yessir, I do.  Although Lillie’s Q doesn’t take reservations, I called today and was informed that it wouldn’t be “too much of a wait” on a Friday night, which is almost certainly a lie – luckily, I work four blocks away and will make a point of shagging ass over there on Friday to make sure we’ll be served in a timely manner.  This place has a good menu and a great beer/drink selection, plus they distill their own moonshine and serve your liquor in Bell jars (which I think is awesome).  It’s easily accessible by public transportation (Blue Line, North Avenue bus) and there’s no shortage of possible DC locations since it’s in Hipster Park.  As a final enticement, I shall purchase one boiled peanuts appetizer for every four attendees.  Really, what more could you want?
